SARATOGA STATE PARK
The State Park will play host to a myriad of activities to bring in the new year! There are three performance sites in this area and plenty of parking---with acts from 6 til 10---a mini-First Night in the park! Stay all evening, or hop on the shuttle buses that will stop all night until after the fireworks downtown at midnight!
UP UP AND AWAY!!! Well, not exactly, but you’ll get the idea---Windrifter hot air ballooning in Saratoga style! This illuminated balloon will be tethered in the Spa State Park right in the midst of some of First Night’s most exciting performance venues between 7 and 9 pm! Be sure to hop on the CDTA shuttle buses that will be running to these park venues all evening---just follow the balloon! OR, park in one of the park’s venues vast parking lots early in the evening, catch the acts there, and take the shuttle bus to downtown venues, then shuttle back to your car following the midnight fireworks.
BEEKMAN STREET ACTIVITIES!
Beekman Street—Saratoga Springs’ newest and
most chic art district, in the heart of the city’s west
side! The city’s answer to Soho and Martha’s
Vineyard rolled into just a few blocks, and loaded
with history, quaint shops, galleries, and eateries.
Your First Night experience is incomplete if you
don’t visit the fastest-growing revitalized neighborhood
in the Spa City!
The First Night “Winter Wonder Wagon” will transport revelers from the Broadway area to Beekman St. and back again, making continuous rounds all throughout the evening! Pick up your ride at the corner of Federal and Congress Sts., in front of the National Grid building, and experience Saratoga’s own wonderful “West Side story”! A variety of eclectic shops and galleries open with refreshments, entertainment and demonstrations until 10 pm.

FIREWORKS AT MIDNIGHT!!! Our dazzling midnight display by Alonzo Fireworks will be in Congress Park! While the park itself cannot be entered during First Night, the best viewing will be on peripheral streets around that area and particularly in a blocked off reserved parking lot on Spring Street across from the Carousel.
